I am so grateful that we found Zenergy Dog Training! My only regret is not knowing of Zenergy sooner. I am constantly singing their praises, and I recommend them to anyone who will listen.
We are an active family that hikes and travels but found ourselves having to leave a member of our family, our 8.5-year-old terrier mix, behind. Louie was always high strung, but after years of encountering loose dogs off lead and an attack at a local dog park, his anxiety worsened. It was so bad that if he saw anyone or any animal on a walk or when in the car, he pulled, lurched forward and backward, and would let out this horrendous scream-like screech. After attempting to work with other trainers, I did not think reform was possible.
After 5-weeks at the Zenergy Bootcamp Louie is completely transformed, and so are we! The work and training continue at home, but Louie can now travel in the car without incident. Even better, I have learned to communicate with him and lead him with confidence. We can walk and hike any time of the day without having to worry about crowds or animals. As an added bonus, something I never thought possible, Louie can now be given his freedom to roam off-lead, and he has such an incredible recall even when the ducks, geese, or other critters are around to distract him. Unlike his old behavior which resulted in sympathy or ‘what’s wrong with you’ glares, people now stop to compliment his behavior.
